Shena Britzen is a proven expert in large-scale projects and heads Rheinmetall's group-wide Hydrogen Programme. In this role, she has been responsible for strategic developments relating to green hydrogen and synthetic fuels (e-fuels) for over four years – both for industrial applications and for resilient military supply solutions.

Prior to her current position, she was Global Programme Lead responsible for the major Australian project LAND 400 Phase 2. She brings with her a total of over 17 years of experience at Rheinmetall – and before that, over a decade of leadership experience as an officer in the German Armed Forces.

Academically, she combines technical and economic expertise: she holds a degree in energy and automation engineering from the University of the German Armed Forces in Munich and also has a Master of Science in Major Programme Management from the renowned Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, which she completed with distinction.
