Hydrogen is said to provide us with an alternative solution for ecologically harmless concepts of energy supply and transport for the future. Combined with a renewable extraction of hydrogen, fossil sources of energy can be spared and the environmental pollution due to exhaust gas can be drastically reduced.

In 2006 TÜV SÜD Automotive launches the hydrogen.tech 2006, a congress that picks up on the topic “mobility with hydrogen” and discusses the subject from different points of view. Representatives of the Bavarian government, the German government and the European Union will debate objective targets in politics and point out possibilities of furthering for science. Representatives of demonstrational projects will show how hydrogen technologies can already be implemented, today.

The congress will furthermore deal with questions concerning the stage of technical development of hydrogen-impelled ve-hicles, hydrogen production, upply, infrastructure and retention.hydrogen.tech 2006 will contribute to an interdisciplinary exchange of information, ideas and experiences as well as the further development of hydrogen technology.
